IT vulnerability scan
An important part of cybersecurity, this service identifies potential risks, weaknesses and vulnerabilities in a customer’s IT environment by scanning their entire system. Based on the scan, we create a list of vulnerabilities and assign a severity level to each one.

Basic steps in vulnerability scanning IT
Identification of objectives
First, we carefully identify the scan targets and determine which parts of the infrastructure will be scanned. This includes servers, networks, IP addresses, ports, applications and other components in the customer’s environment.
Scanning the environment
We perform a separate scan on pre-specified targets in the customer’s IT environment. The scan inspects target systems and identifies vulnerabilities, which are further classified by severity and importance.
Analysis of results
Once the scan itself is complete, we thoroughly analyse the results, create a summary final report where we clearly break down the findings and propose prioritization of repairs.

IT vulnerability scan description
A vulnerability scan is an essential step to determine the state of a customer’s infrastructure from a cybersecurity perspective and how it stands up to a potential cyberattack. We thoroughly investigate and identify vulnerabilities, which we classify according to severity and potential impact on society. Our team carefully assesses how each vulnerability could be exploited and the impact it would have on the organization’s operations. Based on the analysis, strategies and plans are established to implement the necessary security measures to minimize risks and ensure the security of the company.
We have a team of qualified experts
Qualified people with the right skills and certifications are key to this role. As a cybersecurity service provider, we pride ourselves on the fact that our employees are highly skilled and hold prestigious certifications that validate the skills and knowledge required for this service.
Certifications held include Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Security Management (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). BI Manager, ISO/IEC 27001 Auditor/Lead auditor and others.
Thanks to these certifications and the skills of our team, we are able to provide market experts who guarantee our clients a high level of protection and confidentiality for their data and systems. We are constantly evolving and monitoring developments in the cyber threat landscape to ensure we always have the current knowledge and skills needed to protect our clients from ever-changing threats.

IT vulnerability scanning workflow
Scan scheduling
Before a separate scan, we plan which specific parts of the infrastructure are to be scanned.
Tool configuration
Based on the proposed parts of the infrastructure to be scanned, we configure the scan tool to match the customer’s specific infrastructure. The tool is configured with the appropriate range of ports, IP addresses, scan duration and other settings. We can also look for specific types of vulnerabilities.
The scan itself
Run a scan on the selected targets. The tool scans target systems and infrastructure for vulnerabilities. The scan itself can take several minutes, hours or even days. The duration depends on the scale and complexity of the customer’s infrastructure
Analysis of results
Once the scan is complete, we thoroughly analyze the results and findings. During this phase, we identify vulnerabilities and further classify and ranking them based on their potential risk and impact on the organisation. We will produce a comprehensive final report.
Strategies and plans
Based on the completed analysis, we will determine a strategy and subsequent plans for implementing the necessary security measures to minimize the risk of attack and improve the company’s cyber security. For each vulnerability identified, we will propose a specific solution.
Re-scan and documentation
After applying fixes, we re-scan to verify that vulnerabilities have been mitigated. All actions and results are documented for audit purposes
